Very professional ,very calming demeanor, caring, explains procedure well, very clean office and friendly professional staff. For someone like myself that has pretty bad anxiety about going for any dental work, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for another dental procedure if needed. I would recommend this practice for anyone needing his expertise for periodontal work or an extraction.

Dr. Stiefel is a wonderful periodontist. He has helped me heal my gums in a natural and knowledgeable way and I am deeply grateful. He is kind and caring. He takes time to answer my questions and helps me feel at ease. His staff are always friendly, skilled, and helpful. Dr. Stiefel is not only the most knowledgeable and skillful oral practitioner I have ever seen, he is also the kindest. I have a chronic disease leaving me with dry mouth and a propensity for dental and gum problems. Under his regular care coupled with visits to my dentist and dental hygienist I have avoided numerous problems that people with my condition experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I had to get gum grafts, and was very anxious about the entire procedure. Dr. Kaminsky and the team were all very kind, gave me ample information about the procedure, and helped me work with my insurance in order to have the lowest out of pocket costs possible. They called me following the procedure to check in even outside of normal office hours, and were available via phone and text to answer any questions I had. This practice really cares about their patients! They will not suggest any work that is not necessary, and will work with you and your insurance to make sure the process is as easy as possible. They were amazing during the procedure as well, and despite having grafting on both sides of my mouth and palate, there was little to no pain, the aftercare instructions were detailed and easy to follow, and the follow up care was excellent. They even sent me a card thanking me! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone requiring periodontal work, or a consult.

I couldn't be happier with the experience I had at Crestal Health. Every one of the staff was incredible to work with. Very professional, but with a sense of humor as well. I went to another periodontist first, but I wasn't happy with his diagnosis. I was referred here, and never regretted my decision. If you want 100% satisfaction with a difficult decision involving your oral health, please see them for at least a consultation.

I was referred to Dr. Stiefel by my dentist for a tooth extraction and dental implant procedures. Dr. Stiefel put me at ease and explained every step of the process to me. At this point I am one week past the tooth extraction so I still have a long road until the entire process is complete. But, having said that, from the experience I have had so far, I have the utmost confidence that everything else will be smooth sailing. Dr. Stiefel and his entire staff are professional and very kind. Every person in the office goes above and beyond what is expected. The office even sent me a lovely card thanking me for choosing Crestal Health and wishing me a speedy recovery. That is something I have never received from any doctor's office. They really treat you like family. I can't say enough wonderful things about the fantastic people at Crestal. I have NEVER experienced such caring and professionalism in a periodontist's office. After being told by a periodontist in Amherst that I needed $12,000.00 of bone grafting, I searched out a 2nd opinion and found Dr. Steifel. The thoughtfulness with which he approached my situation was unprecedented! He took the time to explain what exactly periodontal disease is, how it leads to bone loss, and why grafting is not the solution in all cases, especially one like mine!! No professional up to that point had EVER been willing or able to provide me that very important information. Nine months after my first visit with this amazing group of dedicated professionals I am almost completely healed without surgery. The verdict is still out on a couple of teeth, but nothing close to four quadrants of bone grafting! This was accomplished with a non invasive oral hygiene plan. I cannot stress how thankful I am to have found this team.

I chose to get a second opinion here after the practice my dentist referred me to gave me a treatment plan of $9500 after I paid out of pocket for a $500 scan of my jaw. The first practice would not consider non surgical options and I felt I was rushed into treatment feeling my oral health was not good. From the moment I entered Dr. Steifel's office until I left I was treated with respect, concern and compassion. Dr. Steifel and his entire staff are the most attentive, knowledgeable and kind I have ever experienced. He explained in detail what my oral health is and a step by step plan as to how I can help myself as well as the non surgical supports he can do. He listened to all my concerns and was very attentive. I left confident and clear as to what the plan is. They understand my insurance and I now will pay less than $1000 compared to almost $10,000. I am assured that if I need further treatment I can trust the process and Dr. Steifel. I would highly recommend this practice.

Ever get a thank you card from a dentist or similar professional? I did, and signed by the whole office - thanking me for trusting them with my card. This reflects the degree to which this practice supports clients through procedures that feel scary. I had an extraction and bone graft. It was flawless and I don't actually remember the procedure itself. Dr. Stiefel called me the evening of the surgery to check on how I was doing and answer questions. I truly appreciated that call. then a few days later, the card arrived. I'm feeling confident about the treatments to follow.

I am writing this review because I am so impressed with this office and Dr. Stiefel. I love the fact that Dr. Stiefel is conservative with his treatment and will exhaust all options before recommending surgery. I was originally referred to Dr. Stiefel by my dentist for a consultation on possible gum grafting. I can truly say that I was terrified!! In fact it took me a year to actually work up the courage to go. Dr. Stiefel was so patient with me. He is such a kind and caring individual. He worked with me until I was ready to move forward with the procedure. I had the gum grafting done on six teeth. He did an amazing job!!!! It looks great and I was actually surprised at how quickly I healed (I did follow their instructions completely). I give this office 5 stars and would give them more if I could. Dr. Stiefel has created a practice that is truly focused on the patient. He is a gifted surgeon and truly compassionate individual. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!!!

I went to Crestal Health Periodontics with a high degree of anxiety about both cost and treatment. I left extremely relieved and grateful. Dr. Ramsey was very kind and caring and the treatment I need is not serious as I thought. I was treated very well by everyone working there and recommend them all very highly.
